Abstract

The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) is an independent agency, founded in 1947, which provides mediation services to industry, community and government agencies with a mission to: promote the development of sound and stable labor management relationships; prevent or minimize work stoppages by assisting labor and management to settle their disputes through mediation; foster the establishment and maintenance of constructive joint processes to improve labor-management relationships, employment security and organizational effectiveness. The site covers resources for resolving labor-management disputes, building labor-management relationships, alternative dispute resolution, and education and outreach services.

Abstract

Quatrième de couverture : "Cet ouvrage décrit les modèles inédits d'accompagnement du deuil, de la maladie et des séparations familiales, que l'auteur a conçus et qu'elle met en œuvre depuis plus de vingt ans, en Suisse et en France. La fondation As'trame, créée à l'initiative de l'auteur, a ainsi accompagné des milliers d'enfants, d'adultes et de familles à partir de ces modèles d'intervention, qui sont abordés depuis leurs espaces communs : le processus de deuil et la "reliance". L'ouvrage s'ouvre sur les circonstances de la création d'As'trame, les réflexions et les évènements qui ont permis à son initiatrice de concrétiser ses idées. Il expose ensuite principalement, de manière dynamique et à l'aide de nombreux exemples, trois modèles fondamentaux : la Ligne du temps du deuil, le Parcours de Reliance, ainsi qu'un protocole d'accompagnement conçu à partir des besoins de la personne humaine. L'auteur a formé des centaines de professionnels aux interventions qu'elle a développées. Chacun, dans le cadre de sa propre pratique, qu'il soit psychologue, enseignant, éducateur, infirmier, assistant social ou thérapeute, peut puiser dans ce texte les éléments dont il a besoin pour se situer et guider les personnes qui lui demandent de l'aide, après une rupture de liens."
